This is the site of the wooden Twins Barracks. More than 200 Jewish children from 2 to 16, mostly twins, were kept prisoner here awaiting criminal medical experiments by the SS doctor Joseph Mengele. It is terrible to think about the atrocities that were committed at Auschwitz.
